TEPAV and TOBB collectively organize the BIO Convention Turkey program.
PHILADELPHIA – TEPAV and TOBB sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BIO, the largest industry organization in the field of biotechnology.
Within the framework of the MoU, TEPAV Center for Biotechnology Policies and BIO will carry out studies and hold meetings together. With the collaboration, joint activities will be held with the newly established TOBB Biotechnology Industry Council through information sharing and expertise support.

A memorandum of understanding was signed in Philadelphia where the BIO Convention was held.
TEPAV and TOBB collectively organized their Turkey program at the BIO Convention, which is the largest event in the field of biotechnology, attended by approximately 20.000 people from 65 countries. Countries and companies are represented at top level.
This year, along with TEPAV and TOBB, the Turkish delegation included 11 research centers, 10 companies and officials from the Directorate of Health Institutes in Turkey (TÜSEB) and the Ministry of Development.
Research centers and companies are represented at the Turkish stand where they get to discuss cooperation opportunities with counterparts.
Concrete actions to be taken in order for Turkey to make a leap forward in the field of biotechnology have been discussed at the panels and meetings held at the convention.
