The third edition of the Turkey Policy Brief Series, launched by TEPAV and IPLI, was authored by Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
"The world is undergoing tumultuous changes, presenting challenges to countries such as Turkey that are affected by this tectonic transformation. While there is a serious economic crisis currently affecting the international community at large, the regions surrounding Turkey are undergoing the equally signifi cant process of political transition. Though challenging, we believe that these transformations are natural and inevitable processes. As it is unwise to confront these processes, the best course of action is to develop a sound understanding of the causes of this transformation and develop suitable strategies to cope with the change.
