Alemdar graduated from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at TOBB University of Economics and Technology in 2025. During his undergraduate studies, he undertook research and analysis internships at TEPAV, the Institute of Foreign Policy, TOBB ETU, and Leap Investment. He also authored articles on a range of topics for The London Financial and the Institute of Social Studies.

His research interests include political economy, development studies, national and internal security, and crime studies. Alemdar joined TEPAV as a Researcher in September 2025.
