Efşan Nas Özen graduated from the Economics department of the Middle East Technical University with a minor degree in Mathematics in 2008, and obtained an MPhil in Economics degree from the University of Cambridge in 2010, funded by the Jean Monnet Scholarship of the European Union. Özen continues her studies for a PhD degree in Economics from the University of Bologna in Italy.
Özen joined TEPAV in May 2012 after her position at the Middle East Technical University. She has taken part and led many projects, particularly in the areas of education and labor policies and labor force skills.
