70th Issue of TEPAV Employment Bulletin Is Published
The number of employees in formal employment increased by 7,9 percent in December 2017 compared to December 2016 and to 14 million 478 thousand. Seasonally adjusted values show that the number of employees in formal employment increased by 81 thousand compared to November 2017.
In December 2017, the number of tradesmen and farmers increased by 2,8 percent compared to December 2016 and became 2 million 777 thousand. Considering the seasonally adjusted values, increase in the number of tradesmen and farmers was 9 thousand compared to November 2017.
The number of public sector employees became 2 million 986 thousand with a increase of 0,1 percent compared to December 2016. Considering the seasonally adjusted values, the number of public sector employees decreased by 2 thousand compared to November 2017.
