The bulletin covered the activities and events carried out in the context of the Entrepreneurship Delegation to Turkey.
ANKARA – Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEP) Turkey, which is joint effort of TEPAV, TOBB and the U.S. State Department, released a bulletin on the activities and events carried out in the context of the Entrepreneurship Delegation to Turkey (EDEL).
The bulletin covered short biographies of delegates, the business plan competition and press coverage.
The bulletin said that 15 leading American entrepreneurs and early-stage investors + 8 leading Turkish investors saw presentations by 32 finalists in the Showcase of the Turkey's Best of the Best Entrepreneurs.
This EDEL to Turkey was the largest GEP EDEL by the U.S. State Department to date and first delegation to include local delegates US $100,000 committed in financing before end of the delegation 30 potential investments into Turkish start-ups, including many investments alongside Turkish investors, at least two investments are already realized.
44 mentoring relationships formed between U.S. delegates and Turkish entrepreneurs.
