Tepav|Epri organized an event called "Turkey at a Glance" on October 10th, 2005 at TOBB Economy and Technology University for Sacramento Seminar Group. Experts on different fields made presentations to the group to provide a general perspective about Turkey.
The Sacramento Seminar Group was founded in 1983 by Paul Priolo, John T. Knox and John Francis Foran who served together for many years in the California Legislature. The Seminar is comprised of a group of politically oriented people who meet on an informal basis every week to discuss current political issues at home and abroad. Each year 20 to 25 members of the Group takes a study trip to meet political leaders or to observe countries.
Tepav|Epri's Economics Department Projects Coordinator, Emre Deliveli presented state of the Turkish economy and mentioned about the transformation period in Turkey.
Derya Dingiltepe, the First Secretary at the Press and Information Desk in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attend as the second speaker. During her speech Ms. Dingiltepe first drew a wide picture of Turkish foreign policy since the foundation of the Republic, and then explained the new pace of Turkish foreign policy.
Soli Özel from Bilgi University who is also the advisor to Tepav|Epri Foreign Policy Department focused on the internal dynamics that shape Turkey's policies.
