"International Energy Sector Security in a Post-Iraq Threat Environment"

Economic Policy Research Institute (TEPAV|EPRI) organized a round-table discussion on "International Energy Sector Security in a Post-Iraq Threat Environment" with the participation of  Prof. Martin Rudner (Director of the Canadian Centre of Intelligence and Security Studies, Carleton University) and Angela Gendron (Senior Fellow at Canadian Centre of Intelligence and Security Studies, Carleton University).

Mr. Rudner made a presentation entitled "Managing Risks, Countering Threats: Protecting Critical National Infrastructure Against Terrorism". After explaining the "Critical National Infrastructure", he assessed different approaches (defensive, risk management and strategic approaches) in order to protect Critical National Infrastructure. He evaluated the issue regarding the importance of energy sector and its security under terror threats.
