Istanbul Forum which brings together the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Afghanistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) held on its first meeting on September, 2007 in Istanbul. Forum supports the studies which are launched by Turkish Foreign Ministry for contributing the establishment of an environment that is based on confidence and cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and internationals efforts in this direction. After holding its second and third meeting in January 2008 and December 2008, the Forum's fourth meeting took place in Istanbul in January 2010. Istanbul Forum focuses on the capacity development activities tailored for private sector development in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
