“Developments and Trends in the World Economy and the Impacts on Turkey”

The meeting titled “Developments and Trends in the World Economy and the Impacts on Turkey will host economist Yusuf Işık, who will address the challenges and dangers the world economy has faced in the post-crisis era particularly after August 2011. IŞIK will open to discussion the measures needed to overcome the challenges and development perspectives, with a conjunctural as well as a longer-term approach. The discussions will concentrate on the dynamics about components of the world economy, in terms of geography and economic activity, and the transformation processes and the shift to the knowledge economy. During the meeting, repercussions of recent developments and trends  in the world economy on the future and development prospects of the Turkish economy will be discussed.
