Merih Celasun Memorial Day is organized by TEPAV to commemorate Professor Merih Celasun, passed away in 2004, who during his professional career at the State Planning Organization, Middle East Technical University and Bilkent University, provided solutions to the structural problems of Turkish economy with his studies on economic policy driven by scientific thought. The third event to be carried out this year also involves a “Merih Celasun Memorial Lecture” which will be given by one of the leading academics of the world, “Merih Celasun Memorial Speeches” and “Merih Celasun Award Ceremony.” This year’s Memorial Lecture will host Prof. Timur Kuran
